Limitations

  • The internet is a major source of copyrighted material such as certain movie streaming websites and Youtube.com. Viewers can watch movies online without having to pay the main producer.
  • The film-makers cannot control what goes onto the internet by users. Valuable information may be leaked, and films/TV programmes may be uncontrollably pirated and streamed on the internet illegally. It is easier to make flawless copies with digital which is why it leads to piracy.
  • Computer-generated imagery (CGI) has become more expensive due to it becoming more useful and has improved vastly.
